Harry Casino app: the mobile build, tested on two phones
No App Store listing and no APK. We installed the mobile web build on an iPhone 13 and a Pixel 7, then measured load times, streams, battery and the cashier.
There is no Harry Casino app to download, and any page offering you an APK is not offering you the operator's software. What exists is a mobile web build that installs to your home screen in two taps and behaves like an app once it is there. We ran it on an iPhone 13 in Safari and a Pixel 7 in Chrome across 40 sessions, and this page is what we measured.
What you actually get on mobile
| Item | What we found |
|---|---|
| iOS App Store listing | None |
| Google Play listing | None |
| Installable web app | Yes, home screen icon, opens without the address bar |
| Storage used after install | Under 3 MB, versus 90 MB and up for a typical native casino app |
| Games available | Every title we opened on desktop also opened on mobile |
| Live stream quality | 1080p on wifi, 720p on 4G, no stalls in 40 sessions |
| Cashier | Full, including promo codes, crypto addresses and document uploads |
| Push notifications | Not offered on iOS, prompt appeared on Android |
Installing it on iPhone
- Open the casino in Safari. Chrome on iOS cannot add a web app to the home screen properly, so use Safari for this step.
- Tap the share icon in the toolbar.
- Choose Add to Home Screen, keep or shorten the name, then tap Add.
- Open the new icon. The build launches full screen and our login session survived between opens for 14 days before asking again.
Installing it on Android
- Open the casino in Chrome. On our Pixel 7 an install prompt appeared automatically on the second visit.
- If it does not appear, use the three dot menu, then Add to Home screen or Install app.
- Accept the prompt. The icon lands in the app drawer as well as the home screen.
- Long press the icon to check it opens standalone rather than as a Chrome tab.
Why the absence of a native app is not the problem it sounds like. A web build updates the moment the operator ships a change, needs no store approval and cannot go stale on your phone. What you lose is push notifications on iOS and offline caching, neither of which matters for a product that requires a live connection anyway.
Performance we measured
| Test | iPhone 13, Safari | Pixel 7, Chrome |
|---|---|---|
| Lobby first load, wifi | 2.1 s | 2.4 s |
| Lobby first load, 4G | 3.6 s | 4.1 s |
| Slot open to first spin | 2.8 s | 3.2 s |
| Live table join | 4.4 s | 4.9 s |
| Crashes or dropped sessions in 40 sessions | 0 | 1, after a network switch |
| Battery drain, 30 minute session | 7% | 9% |
The one dropped session on Android happened when the phone moved from wifi to mobile data mid spin. The spin resolved correctly on reconnect and the balance was right, which is the behaviour that matters. Portrait play works for slots, and live tables are usable in portrait but noticeably better in landscape.
Playing well on a small screen
- Turn on two factor authentication before you install to the home screen, because a saved session on a phone you lose is a real risk. The security steps are on the Harry Casino login page.
- Set a deposit limit in the responsible gambling tab. Mobile play is easier to extend by accident than desktop play, and the limit applies immediately.
- Check the max bet if a bonus is active. The £5 cap is easy to break with a fat finger on a stake slider, and it voids the balance.
- Request cashouts on wifi. Crypto addresses pasted on mobile data were fine for us, but a dropped connection mid request means re entering the address.
Payout speeds are identical whether you request from the phone or the desktop, as the timings on the Harry Casino withdrawal time page show.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a Harry Casino app to download?
No. There is no native app in the App Store or Google Play. The mobile site is a browser build you can add to your home screen, where it opens without the address bar.
How do I install the Harry Casino app on iPhone?
Open the site in Safari, tap the share icon, then Add to Home Screen. The icon and full screen behaviour match a native app, and the login session persists between opens.
How do I add Harry Casino to an Android home screen?
Open the site in Chrome, tap the three dot menu, then Add to Home screen or Install app. Chrome prompted us automatically on the second visit.
Does the mobile version have all the games?
Every slot and live table we opened on desktop also opened on mobile. Live streams stepped down from 1080p to 720p on 4G rather than buffering.
Can I deposit and withdraw from a phone?
Yes, the cashier is the same in the mobile build, including the promo code field and the crypto address flow. Document uploads worked from the phone camera.
